Honestly I’ve been holding back on providing a prebuilt version considering all the work CodeWeavers put into producing it, winetricks doesn’t even support my builds (had to fork and patch winetricks) since they closely mirror CodeWeavers being mixed wine/wine64/wine32on64 with relinked PE executables to reduce its overall size. My builds can be used outside of Wineskin if the end user provides the needed runtime as I don’t want to maintain multiple, might make a custom Portfile to handle it but not decided if I’m going to do that yet. If someone can’t compile wine then making a purchase of CrossOver is good to support there hard work. I don’t ever see CodeWeavers providing a build for there commercial version of wine considering but they do provide the source. In short, it is a program that creates a kind of 'intermediate level' on Mac, in order to obtain everything you need to run installation files for Windows programs, without installing the operating system produced by Microsoft.
